Match report Despite two hours of stair rod rain during the morning the III's match against Flitwick II's started on time with steam rising from the wicket. St Albans won the toss and asked Flitwick to bat. The decision seemed correct when Flitwick were floundering on 82-6. However 54 from no. 8 batsman R Timms and 24 from no. 11 bat M Ellis saw Flitwick reach a highly respectable 181-10 considering the conditions. The pick of the bowlers were Uzman Zaman (3-36), Michael Eames (4-50) and Mark Bashford (2-15).

St Albans started well and were on target at 52-2 after 18 overs, both Dan Wright and Simon Smithers scoring 21. Flitwick's M Ellis dashed any hopes of a St Albans victory by ripping through the middle order and finishing with 6-15 off 12 overs, St Albans liming to a measly 98 all out.
